This is the only example in private hands of the three specimens known for Constantine Caesar from the first dynastic emission of Rome. The two others are in the British Museum and in the Castelvecchio of Verona. All were depicted by Ramskold (Constantine's vicennalia (2013), fig. 7), together with the unique specimen for Crispus from the same emission (see lot 2877 above).
